Additional Shoe Inventory (New, tagged and boxed only) To keep pace with our programming and ensure our inventory levels are such that we are always able to offer choice, we are always in need of new, tagged and boxed sneakers sizes youth 11 to adult 12. Our goal of outfitting 10,000 children in need annually has us moving more inventory than ever before and the only thing that slows us down is the shortage of shoes or socks. Specific Size Needs as of 12/05/11: Youth Boy and Girl 11.5 Youth Girls 1 Youth Boy and Girl 2.5
Celebrity Signed Shoes for Auction Do YOU know a celebrity? Think Hollywood, sports, television or music. We're always on the look out for celebrity shoes and every pair donated to GTSF allows us to, in turn, outfit dozens of disadvantaged children. It's a win-win for everyone! WHAT is a Celebrity Shoe Auction, you ask? Well, in addition to individual and corporate donations, sponsorships, and grants, we think it's kind of fun to raise funds by auctioning off autographed celebrity's shoes. So, throughout the year we collect autographed celebrity shoes and then we auction them off at our annual Heart n' Sole fundraising event held in June. Winning bidders take home their favorite celeb's autographed shoes, and whenever possible, a photo of the person actually signing the shoes and/or a letter authenticating them. The funds raised allow us to do what we do; put more shoes on the feet of children in need. |
